Why are you quitting smoking?

This is one of the most critical parts of quitting. Ask yourself why you’re quitting, and BE HONEST.

Good reasons to quit:
- Your health
- Because you’re tired of it
- Because it’s too expensive

Bad reasons to quit:
- Wife/Husband/etc. pushing you

The point here is that you have to be quitting for yourself and for your own reasons, not because someone else is convincing you to quit. If you’re quitting smoking for someone else, you’ll find yourself sneaking that odd cigarette here and there. Before you know it, you’re back where you started...except that you’re now hiding something from someone you care about.
Not what you want to be doing.
