One of the best things you can do to kick the habit is to change your lifestyle. One of the things that helped me the most was exercising. Smoking and exercise are rather mutually exclusive, so if you want a head start...get out there and go for a walk!

That’s right, a walk. Not a run, not sprinting, nothing insane. Find some time, maybe after work, and walk around your neighborhood.
The associated endorphin rush will make you feel amazing, and you won’t even want to think about cigarettes for a while after.

If you make it a habit, you’ll start to realize all of what you’re missing by smoking. One of the greatest feelings I ever had was going for a nice run after not smoking for a month. Give it a shot, what do you have to lose?
